We are super excited to have this favourite back in the house, and you wont be disappointed with the 2021, rich and heady in flavour and aroma, with lovely spicy and savoury characters. It is vibrant and dark red in colour, with the nose opening up to aniseed, violets, cherries, and a hint of moccha. Crushed fennel seed gives an enriched savouriness to the nose. The palate is intense, has lovely barrel characters along with red fruits, spicy black pepper, silky tannins and lovely fresh acidity lingering on the palate.

A great wine drinking now, but definitely leave it in the cellar if you can for 8-10 years.

This wine pairs well with beef, lamb, game and poultry dishes.
