Impenetrable inky black heart with a very deep dark purple black hue. Intense dark plum, liquorice and blackberry scents flood the nostrils followed by some vanillin cedar, hints of fennel and pepper. Rich and concentrated yet tense, the full bodied palate is awash with succulent dark plum, blackberry and liquorice fruits. Opulent yet energetic in its feel, notions of vanillin cedar, blueberry and peppered fennel lie underneath. Superb power with fresh youthful acidity lending vibrancy to the long inky yet lavishly fruited finish.

Shiraz is a perfect wine to pair with red meat, such as beef, lamb, and venison. The tannins in Shiraz can complement the rich flavours of red meat, and the wine’s bold taste can stand up to the intense flavours of grilled or roasted meat.
