Established in the 1970s as the world’s first fully-computerised distillery, Allt-A-Bhainne has mostly been a secret weapon for the good people at Chivas Regal, providing a lightly funky and strongly fruit-forward malt that provided an aromatic balance to the richer chocolate/spice/preserved notes in that blend. This single malt expression from the distillery is a rare and worthwhile example of a peated Speyside whisky.
