Aromatics of dark cherry, blackberry and hints of blueberry are complemented by notes of vanillin oak and chicory spice. The palate displays density, yet great elegance. Strawberry, cherry, raspberry and rhubarb are accompanied by hints of mocha. Underpinning the fruit is a bed of silky tannins providing lovely structure and length.
This wine pairs well with pan-roasted salmon, chargrilled steak, and roasted or braised chicken.
